French Open 2012: Novak Djokovic And Roger Federer Advance To Quarterfinals Despite Struggles

Despite numerous struggles early in their matches Sunday, both Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer advanced to the quarterfinals at Roland Garros.

Djokovic was down two sets to none to No. 22 Andreas Seppi before rallying to win the match in five sets, 4-6, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 7-5, 6-3. Djokovic had 17 unforced errors in each of the first two sets, as he struggled to find a rhythm for the first half of the match.

Federer dropped the first set of his match with unranked David Goffin before taking the next three sets to win the match, 5-7, 7-5, 6-2, 6-4. He will take on the winner of the Tomas Berdych-Juan Martin Del Potro match in the quarterfinals.
