Tigers Vs. Rays: Tampa Bay Eyes Consecutive Home Victories For First Time In Month

The Tampa Bays Rays (41-36) snapped a four-game losing streak on Friday night, and now will look to win two straight home games for the first time in a month when they host the Detroit Tigers (37-40) on Saturday at Tropicana Field.

Jeremy Hellickson (4-3, 3.45 ERA)will be on the mound for the Rays, fresh off a stint on the disabled list for shoulder inflammation. In his career, Hellickson is just 1-2 against Detroit despite a stellar 1.77 ERA in three starts.

Rick Porcello (5-5, 4.71 ERA) will take the hill for Jim Leyland. The right-hander is 1-1 with a 3.15 ERA in three career starts against Tampa Bay.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. EST at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.
