The Miami Marlins ( 31-23) open a three-game home series against the Atlanta Braves (29-25) tonight, as they look to gain sole-possession of first-place in the National League East. The Marlins are dead even with the Washington Nationals in the standings (30-22), but sit percentage points behind them as they're a game back in the loss column.

Annibal Sachez (3-3, 2.56 ERA) takes the mound for Miami, and he'll be facing off against Tim Hudson (3-2, 4.60 ERA). Sanchez is 0-5 with a 6.23 ERA in his last six starts against Atlanta. Tim Hudson has struggled as of late, going 0-1 in his last two outings with an 8.76 ERA. Jose Reyes is currently on an 18-game hitting streak, which is the longest active streak in the majors.

The game is scheduled for 7:10 p.m., and it will be shown on Fox Sports Florida.
