Another horse entered the field for the 2012 Belmont Stakes this week. My Adonis joined the other horses competing in the final leg of the Triple Crown races, according to the Daily Racing Form.
My Adonis is owned by George and Lori Hall. It is trained by Kelly Breen. That trio won the Belmont Stakes last year with their horse Ruler On Ice. My Adonis will be ridden by Ramon Dominguez. No odds have been set for the horse at this point in time.
Racing fans will recognize My Adonis as the son of Breeders' Cup champion Pleasantly Perfect. My Adonis' last race came on May 5 when he finished third in the Canonero II Stakes at Pimlico. The three-year-old horse has a record of 10-2-4-2.
There are now 12 horses in the field for the Belmont Stakes, headlined by Triple Crown favorite I'll Have Another.
