Rays Vs. Yankees: Tampa Bay Looks To Avoid Sweep

After dropping the first two gams of the series to the New York Yankees -- and dropping back behind them in the American League East standings -- the Tampa Bay Rays will look to pull one back tonight. With the Rays at 31-25 and the Yankees at 31-24, a win will vault the Tampa Bay back ahead of New York in the division.

Rays ace David Price (7-3, 2.44 ERA) will take the mound for Tampa, and he'll be facing off against New York's top starter CC Sabathia (7-2, 3.68). Sabathia and Price have pitched against each other six times, with the Rays only losing once -- when they met last month and Price gave up five runs and 11 hits in seven innings of work.

The game is scheduled to start at 7:05, and it will be televised on Sun Sports.
