With two straight losses to the Atlanta Braves, the Miami Marlins have dropped down to a second-place tie with their series opponents. The Marlins have scored one run in two games, and they'll need some more production from their bats if they're not to get swept tonight.
They'll get to take on the struggling Mike Minor (2-4, 6.98 ERA), who is 0-3 with a 9.95 ERA in his last six starts and has the worst ERA in the majors. Mark Buehrle (5-5, 3.53) will take the mound for Miami. Buehrle's sporting an uninspiring 4.05 ERA in three career starts against Atlanta, but he's managed to win all three.
Miami has a total of seven hits in the series.
The game is scheduled to begin at 7:10 p.m. It will be televised on Fox Sports Florida.
