The 2012 College World Series has now shifted to the Super Regional portion of the tournament, where two teams are matched up in best-of-three series. The winner jumps on a plane and heads to Omaha.
The Florida State Seminoles are looking for their fifth series win in the Super Regionals since the format was adopted in 1999 and their 21st trip to Omaha. Friday's game will be played at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium starting at 7 p.m. The Seminoles will be sending Brandon Leibrandt (7-2) to the hill to start against Stanford Cardinal pitcher Mark Appel (10-1).
All games of this Super Regional game will be broadcast live on ESPN2. Radio coverage of Friday's game will be on 1270 AM The Team in Tallahassee.
