Marlins Vs. Rays Score Update: Tampa Bay Up 7-0 After Three Innings

Through three innings of work, Tampa Bay Rays starter Matt Moore looks rather comfortable. It'd be tough to say likewise about Carlos Zambrano, who took the hill for the Miami Marlins on Saturday night, as the Rays grabbed an early 7-0 lead. Throwing 57 pitches, Zambrano gave up five hits, three walks and seven earned runs through two and one-third innings before being replaced by reliever Chad Gaudin and failing to make it out of the third.

Tampa Bay compiled many of its runs during the top of the second inning -- with five coming. Ben Zobrist then added a two-run home run in the third.

Moore has been steady on the mound, striking up five batters and giving up just one hit and no runs.
