Three players from the Sunshine State will be heading to Kansas City to take part in the 2012 MLB All-Star Game, as Giancarlo Stanton will represent the MIami Marlins, while David Price and Fernando Rodney will represent the Tampa Bay Rays.
Stanton will bring to the National League his great power, as his 18 home runs ranks third in the NL. He is also expecting to take part in the Home Run Derby on July 9.
David Price's selection to the American Legue roster comes as no surprise. He is 11-4 with an ERA of 2.92 while striking out 97 batters in 104.2 innings.
Rodney has been solid out of the bullpen for the Rays in 2012, as he has 22 saves while his ERA is a minuscule 1.04.
