College Football Awards 2012: Florida Stars On The Mackey, Rimington Watch Lists

A second pair of watch lists for college football preseason awards came out on Tuesday. Watch lists for the Mackey Award and the Rimington Award included two players from Florida.

The Mackey Award recognizes the nation's top tight end every year. Florida tight end Jordan Reed made the watch list this year. A redshirt junior, Reed caught 28 passes for 307 yards and a pair of touchdowns in 11 games last season. In two seasons with the Gators, Reed has played in 23 games, starting 14, including some starts as a quarterback.

Gators center Jonotthan Harrison is on the watch list for the Rimington Award, which honors the nation's top center. A redshit junior, Harrison has played in all 26 games of his college career so far. Listed at 6'3" 309 pounds, Harrison has also taken some snaps at guard.
