On Tuesday, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc. announced 48 candidates as part of the preseason watch list for the Biletnikoff Award, given annually to the best receiver in all of college football. Among the 48, are three players from schools from the Sunshine State in Florida wideout Andre Debose, Florida State's Willie Haulstead and Miami's Allen Hurns.
Last season, Debose finished with 16 receptions for 432 yards and four touchdowns. Haulstead had 39 for 597 and six touchdowns and Hurns had 31 for 415 and four touchdowns.
The foundation will announce 10 semifinalists for the award on Nov. 12, before narrowing the list down to three finalists on Nov. 19. A winner will be unveiled as part of the Home Depot ESPNU College Football Awards Show on Dec. 6.
