Tiger Woods has put himself right in the thick of the competition at the British Open on Friday. His second round 67 puts him at 6-under for the tournament. He is currently in third place behind Australian Adam Scott, who also shot 67 and is standing at 9-under.
The current leader at the British Open is American Brandt Snedeker, buoyed by a 6-under 64 in the second round. Snedeker had a stretch of seven holes where he hit five birdies. Five golfers are tied for fifth place at four-under including Jason Dufner and Paul Lawrie. Ernie Els rounds out the top 10 at 3-under for the tournament.
The current cut line is at 3-over, notable golfers that are either likely or in danger of missing the cut include Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Y.E. Yang, Justin Rose and Justin Leonard.
