Looking to build off Friday's 4-3 win over the Seattle Mariners, the Tampa Bay Rays find themselves trailing 2-0 following five innings of play at Tropicana Field on Saturday night.
Seattle took its two-run edge during the top of the first inning when a single to left field from Michael Saunders scored Casper Well and John Jaso. The Rays, meanwhile, have just four hits and no runs.
Alex Cobb first took the hill for Tampa Bay, but he had to leave after two innings. He took a grounder off his right shin. X-rays were negative. Replacing him was Cesar Ramos, who tossed three scoreless innings to keep the Rays within two runs.
