Marlins Vs. Pirates: Miami Drops Fourth Straight, 5-1 To Pittsburgh

The losing skid continues for the Miami Marlins. Facing the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday night, the Marlins fell by a final score of 5-1, marking their fourth consecutive loss.

A solo home run from right fielder Justin Ruggiano in the second inning evened the score at one, but Marlins starting pitcher Carlos Zambrano imploded in the fourth and they couldn't recover. Off Zambrano, the Pirates would score three times -- all off bases-loaded walks and an error. He would be charged with five runs (four earned), three hits and six walks in the loss -- just his second at PNC Park. Zambrano has eight wins all-time in Pittsburgh.

The series finale is schedule for Sunday at 1:35 p.m. EST. Anibal Sanchez will take the hill for Miami.
