Tiger Woods finished in third-place at the 2012 British Open, after entering the tournament as a favorite. Nevertheless, Woods' play of late has him climbing back up the rankings in the golf world. Following his finish at the Open, Woods now ranks second on the World Golf Rankings.
Luke Donald tops the list. Donald finished in a tie for fifth-place at the British Open. Woods switched places with Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy, who drops to third place now. The difference between the two golfers on the rankings list is a mere fraction of a point.
Lee Westwood is in fourth place on the list. Webb Simpson, who won the U.S. Open this year, is in the fifth spot. Adam Scott sits at sixth, and British Open winner Ernie Els moved into the top 15.
