Coke Zero 400 Qualifying Results: Matt Kenseth Wins Pole

Qualifying for Saturday night's Coke Zero 400 took place at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, with Sprint Cup points leader Matt Kenseth taking the pole with a time of 46.781 seconds and a top speed of 192.386 mph. This is the eighth time in Kenseth's career that he has won the pole. Starting along side him in row 1 will be Tony Stewart who posted a time of 46.787 seconds.

Jeff Gordon will have a favorable starting spot, as he was able to take sixth place in qualifying with a time of 46.860 seconds. Dale Earnhart Jr., who currently is ranked second in the Sprint Cup standings, will begin the race in 25th.
