With multiple reports indicating that the trade to send three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Dwight Howard, away from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers is finalized, the Howard saga is finally over. After what seems like four years of trade rumors regarding the center and a summer that featured trade rumors involving the Nets, Rockets and Lakers, among others, the trade is reportedly done.
And while Evan Dunlap of SB Nation's Magic blog, Orlando Pinstriped Post, is not happy about the compensation of the deal, he's taking solace in the fact that it's finally over.
It's over with and the folks who pay attention to this team can move forward.

Appreciate that much, at least, if only for today. Tomorrow you can rage about spending money on a team whose best player is Arron Afflalo.
