Chad Johnson Arrest: Dolphins Release Wide Receiver

One day after being arrested on domestic violence chargers, the Miami Dolphins have officially parted ways with wide receiver Chad Johnson according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports:

Johnson was arrested on Saturday night after an altercation with his wife, Evelyn Lozada, whom he allegedly head-butted, leaving a laceration on her forehead which required hospital treatment. Johnson was later released on $2,500 bond.

According to a report by The Miami Herald, Johnson allegedly made some disturbing comments to his wife during the altercation:

"I don’t give a f...! I don’t give a f... about my career!" Johnson reportedly shouted.

On the HBO reality football series, 'Hard Knocks,' Johnson was already warned about the consequences of any conduct deemed detrimental to the team by new Dolphins head coach, Joe Philbin.
