In an interview with a Ft. Lauderdale radio station, Miami Dolphins middle linebacker Karlos Dansby said that he is not happy with the team's decision to release wide receiver Chad Johnson.
"It’s going to be a bigger distraction because we let him go," Dansby said, via excerpts of the show disseminated by 640 Sports. "He didn’t get that third strike. That’s just me personally. . . . We’ve been through worse. We’ve seen worse."

Dansby added that the whole thing is "out of character" for Johnson, who was arrested for domestic violence on Aug. 11. Johnson was reportedly on a one-strike arrangement with the Dolphins, so the organization was not inclined to be patient with this legal issue.
Johnson spent the 2011 season with the New England Patriots, where he caught 15 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown.
