Marlins Vs. Phillies Lineups: Josh Johnson Pitches As Bryan Peterson Leads Off

The Miami Marlins are still trying to fight their way out of the National League East basement. They get a chance to close the gap on Tuesday night when they take on the Philadelphia Phillies. Josh Johnson (7-8, 3.88 ERA) will start for a Marlins team that will have a slightly different look, as manager Ozzie Guillen makes a few changes to the batting order.

The most notable shift comes at the top of the order, where Bryan Peterson, who came on as a pinch hitter in Monday's 4-0 loss, will start in left field and lead off. Second baseman Donovan Solano, who led off Monday's game, will bat seventh.

Here is the rest of the Marlins' batting lineup.

1. Bryan Petersen (L) LF
2. Justin Ruggiano (R) CF
3. Jose Reyes (S) SS
4. Carlos Lee (R) 1B
5. Giancarlo Stanton (R) RF
6. Greg Dobbs (L) 3B
7. Donovan Solano (R) 2B
8. Rob Brantly (L) C
9. Josh Johnson (L) P

The Phillies, on the other hand, will send pitcher Kyle Kendrick (4-9, 4.86) to the hill. The only major difference in the batting lineup for the Phillies will be catcher Brian Schneider catching for Kendrick.

Here is the complete lineup for the Phillies:

1. Jimmy Rollins (S) SS
2. Juan Pierre (L) LF
3. Chase Utley (L) 2B
4. Ryan Howard (L) 1B
5. Domonic Brown (L) RF
6. John Mayberry (R) CF
7. Kevin Frandsen (R) 3B
8. Brian Schneider (L) C
9. Kyle Kendrick (R) P

The game is scheduled for a 7:10 p.m. first pitch from Marlins Park.
