Evelyn Lozada Files For Divorce From Chad Johnson

Evelyn Lozada has filed for divorce from former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson following his arrest for domestic violence Saturday night.

Evelyn Lozada is ending her marriage to former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson. Lozada filed for divorce Tuesday according to her representative Danika Berry, ending the couple's 41-day marriage.

Johnson was arrested for domestic violence on Saturday night after he allegedly headbutted Lozada following an argument. The altercation began after Lozada allegedly found a receipt for a box of condoms.

Johnson and Lozada were set to star in a VH1 reality show called "Ev & Ocho" that followed the couple, but that project has now been shelved following Johnson's arrest.

Johnson was released on bail Sunday afternoon and was released by the Dolphins shortly thereafter following a meeting with Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin.
