Chad Johnson Arrested: Reggie Bush Reacts To Johnson's Release

While Chad Johnson wasn't on the Miami Dolphins long enough to form a connection with many of his teammates, one player who expressed sadness about his release was high-profile RB Reggie Bush, who talked to reporters on Tuesday:

"Obviously, he's hurt. What do you expect?" Bush said. "He's not happy he lost his job, but Chad will be fine. He'll bounce back. I just gave him some words of encouragement, just to stay focused, keep his head above water. He'll be fine. He's a grown man and he'll be OK."

Johnson's departure will ease some of the off-the-field spotlight on the Dolphins, but he was being counted on to make a contribution at WR, especially if rookie Ryan Tannehill is thrust into the action during the 2012 season.

At this point, there's no way to know whether Johnson will be able to catch on with another NFL team, but after his on-field struggles with the New England Patriots in 2011 and his off-field issues in Miami, his NFL career may be over.
