It appears as though Olympian Jeff Demps has found his NFL home with the New England Patriots, as it's been reported on Friday. Ian Rapoport cites one of Demps' agents as the source who confirmed the report.
The highly anticipated decision from the Olympic sprinter left for quite a bit of speculation leading up to this. At one point, the Bucs were considered front-runners for Demps' services, with his Florida background in mind, of course.
Demps spent his college career with the Florida Gators with whom he averaged 25 yards per return last season. With the threats he poses with his speed, New England could plan to do a multitude of things with Demps on offense and special teams.
