Miami Dolphins 'Strongly Hint' At Uniform, Logo Change

The Miami Dolphins may have a new look in 2013, personnel aside. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross wants to change the Miami uniforms, as well as update the logo.

Per Ben Volin, Ross says that "it's kind of updating things and being with today." Miami's logo has gone through a series of several subtle changes throughout the franchise's history, with the latest update coming in 1997. Miami's uniforms have been relatively consistent throughout the franchise's history as well, with the introduction of an orange alternate jersey coming in 2003.

It's unknown how drastic Ross wants the changes to be, but if history is any indication, it'll likely just be another subtle change to the uniform -- or as Ross put it himself, "updating" it here in 2012. No changes will come until 2013 at the earliest. Nike, who replaced Reebok as the league's uniform supplier, could be at the helm of designing the changes to Miami's uniforms.
