The Barclays 2012: Tiger Woods Suffers Knee And Back Injury

Tiger Woods has suffered an injury to his knee and back after an awkward tee shot in the second round of The 2012 Barclays heald at Bethpage Black at Old Bethpage, NY.

Woods was seen grimacing and holding his left knee, which is the same one that he injured during the 2008 U.S. Open. Woods had to have surgery after it was found that he tore his ACL and has had a myriad of problems with his legs since -- including a ruptured Achilles tendon during his rehabilitation of his injured ACL.

Woods has not won a major since that U.S. Open, and has struggled to find the form he had before the injury.

Woods was 3-under par when the injury happened and currently sits at 4-under par through nine holes. Woods is three strokes behind a four-pack of leaders at 7-under par that include Sergio Garcia and Vigay Singh.
