The Miami Dolphins have agreed to trade cornerback Vontae Davis to the Indianapolis Colts for a second-round pick, according to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer.

Davis has played three seasons with the Dolphins, racking up 150 career tackles and nine interceptions. Davis played in 12 games with the Dolphins last season and recorded 43 stops and a career-high-tying four interceptions. He was originally drafted by the Dolphins with the 25th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft.

Davis had fallen out of favor with the Dolphins coaching staff and, thanks to HBO's "Hard Knocks," fans got to see their frustration with Davis first-hand.

Colts owner Jim Irsay has fueled speculation of a trade on his official Twitter account for several days now, talking about "trade winds swirling" and such.
