The Deutsche Bank Championship begins on Friday and runs through Labor Day. The top 100 players in the FedEx Cup points standings were eligible for this tournament. After this tournament, the top 70 in the standings will be eligible for the next tournament.
The current FedEx Cup points leader Nick Watney tees off at 8:40 a.m. on hole No. 10 with Tiger Woods and Brandt Snedeker. Bubba Watson, Born in Bagdad, Fla., is scheduled to tee off at 8:28 a.m. with Dustin Johnson, from Jupiter, Fla. and Carl Pettersson. The first round will be livestreamed on the PGA Tour's official website starting at 12:30 p.m. Television coverage of the tournament will begin at 2 p.m. on the Golf Channel.
