The 2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place Saturday night in Canton, Ohio, with former Miami Hurricane standout Cortez Kennedy one of the six players being honored.
An All-American defensive tackle at Miami, Kennedy was the third overall selection by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1990 NFL Draft. He made the Pro Bowl eight times in 11 season with Seattle, and was named the 1992 Defensive Player of the Year despite the Seahawks enduring a 2-14 season.
Kennedy will be joined in receiving a gold Hall of Fame jacket by cornerback Jack Butler, center Dermontti Dawson, running back Curtis Martin, defensive lineman Chris Doleman and offensive lineman Willie Roaf.
