The season's final major has another familiar favorite with Tiger Woods currently listed at 8/1 to bring home the Wannamaker Trophy. Woods enters the week after a three-win summer, but he struggled a bit with his putter last week at Firestone. He caught fire in his Sunday final round on a soft course, but it was still an up-and-down week on one of his favorite tracks.
The Ocean Course is a true test of the shot-shaper, with trajectory control an absolute must. Woods has really improved his trajectory this season, most notably off the tee where he's been pounding low stingers with his three wood. But a left-to-right wind may give him problems because he's so locked into hitting cut shots right now. The wind is the biggest factor at Kiawah, and if it lays down, we could see a low number at the PGA Championship. Regardless of the weather, Woods enters the week as the favorite:
Tiger Woodsn 8/1
Rory McIlroy 18/1
Luke Donald 18/1
