On Thursday, the 2012 Summer Olympic Games continue in the second week of competition. The United States women's basketball team will be in action in the semifinal round, taking on Australia as they vie to advance to the finals and win another gold medal. They have cruised through the tournament thus far and still look like the favorite to win the gold medal.
The United States took the lead in the overall medal count on Wednesday and have a chance to continue to add to that count with the Women's Soccer Gold Meal match.
