2012 PGA Championship: Carl Pettersson Still Tops Loaded Leaderboard

Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and defending PGA Champion Keegan Bradley all had excellent days out on the course, but there still hasn't been anyone able to match Sweden's Carl Pettersson. He went into the clubhouse with the lead at 6-under par, and he's still holding onto it late into the afternoon.

The best performing player still on the course is K.J. Choi, who is surging up the leaderboard towards Pettersson. He's 5-under par through 11 holes and has birdied his last three in a row. He's joined by McIlroy and Gary Woodland at 5-under. Bradley is 4-under, while Woods is 3-under.

Things are not off to a good start for top-ranked golfers Luke Donald and Lee Westwood, who look unlikely to shake their labels as the best golfers in the world without major titles. Donald is 1-over par and Westwood is 3-over.
