Dwight Howard Trade: Lakers, Magic, Sixers, Nuggets Deal Done, According To Report

Shortly after reports surfaced that the Magic, along with three other teams, would be conducting a trade call with the league on Friday morning, ESPN filed a second report indicating that the a deal sending Dwight Howard from Orlando to the Lakers is complete. While the big piece is obviously Howard landing in LA, the Magic will reportedly receive three protected first round picks from the Lakers, Nuggets and Sixers, in addition to Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, and Nikola Vucevic.

ESPN's Marc Stein also reported that the Magic will receive Moe Harkless, Philadelphia's first round pick this year. The main framework of the deal:

A source with direct knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com's Marc Stein the Lakers will receive Howard, the Denver Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the other three teams.

In addition, the Magic will be getting other pieces, including 76ers No. 1 draft pick Moe Harkless, a source told Stein.

Howard has been the face of the Orlando franchise, pushing the Magic to the NBA Finals and accumulating All-Star appearances and Defensive Player of the Year awards. But his saga, full of indecision and discontentment, is well-known at this point and a deal with the Lakers emerged as the most likely option for new GM Rob Hennigan.
