Florida A&M Vs. Tennessee State 2012: TV Schedule, Game Time, Spread And More

The Florida A&M University Rattlers kick off their 2012 season on the road, taking on the Tennessee State Tigers. The team is looking for a hot start on their way to a repeat of their 2010 season, when they won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship. The team posted a record of 7-4 in the 2011 season.

Returning sophomore Damien Fleming is expected to lead the Rattler offense. He played in nine games in the 2011 season, posting a completion percentage of 60.1%, collecting 1622 yards and 11 touchdowns. Eddie Rocker returns to the team and will be the starting running back. The senior played in all 11 games of the 2011 season, picking up 555 yards on 104 carries for a 5.0 yards per carry average.

Senior linebacker Brandon Hepburn, cornerback Terry Johnson and safety John Ojo are expected to lead the defense, which looked good in early practices. They collected seven sacks and two interceptions in one of the Rattlers' early scrimmages.

Tennessee State's 2011 record was 5-6.
