Marlins Vs. Mets Final Score: Miami Collapses In Ninth Inning, New York Wins 5-3

The Marlins looked like they had this one wrapped up against the Mets on Saturday night going into the ninth inning, but New York ended up loading the bases and eventually went ahead in the ninth to win, 5-3.

Bryan Petersen cracked the scoreboard first with a double to left center field that brought in second baseman Donovan Solano. Jose Reyes scored the other two runs for the Marlins. Giancarlo Stanton brought Reyes in for the Marlins second run of the game with a single in the sixth inning, and Carlos Lee did it in the eighth.

Lucas Dula hit an RBI single to center field in the ninth inning, which was followed eventually by Kelly Shoppach's game winning base hit.

This is the second straight game the Marlins have dropped to the Mets.
