A spectacular U.S. Open comes to a close Monday as No. 2 Novak Djokovic and No. 3 Andy Murray square off for the men's singles title in the last Grand Slam event of the 2012 season.
Murray and Djokovic advanced to Monday's final on the strength of four-set victories in their semifinal matches. Djokovic had to best David Ferrer over the course of two days because of weather delays — the same delays that moved the men's final from its usual Sunday daytime slot to Monday afternoon.
The meeting of two of the world's top three players is the 15th meeting all time between Murray and Djokovic. Djokovic holds an 8-6 all-time advantage, but the two have split 10 meetings on hard courts, 5-5.
The match will begin at 4 p.m. and be available live on CBS. You can also check out U.S. Open Live for streaming coverage and additional statistics.
