Although Notre Dame will remain an independent for football, every ACC fan will get a chance to see their team play the Fighting Irish. Their ACC opponents will rotate every year.
Each ACC school is guaranteed to play Notre Dame in football once out of every three years.

There is no word yet on how often a team will get a chance to host the Fighting Irish or how the opponents will rotate, but Notre Dame should be making trips down to Florida soon enough.
Notre Dame is also expected to attempt to keep some of their other rivals on the schedule, including Navy, Stanford and USC. The games that are likely to decrease or be eliminated are those against Midwest teams, like Michigan and Michigan State.
