In the battle of small college Florida football, the Webber International Warriors will take on the Jacksonville University Dolphins this weekend at D.B. Milne Field in Jacksonville.
The Dolphins enter Saturday's game with a 1-1 record after being blown out (and shut out) in their Sept. 1 season opener with the Georgia Southern Eagles, 58-0. However, Jacksonville would soon taste victory as they followed up their brutal loss with a blowout victory of their own, defeating the Charleston Southern Buccaneers the following Saturday, 31-10.
Webber International comes into Jacksonville at 0-2 and will be looking to earn their first win of the year.
In their season and home opener against the Louisiana College Wildcats, the Warriors were defeated 34-16. The following weekend they traveled to Clinton, Miss. to take on the Mississippi College Choctaws and were bested once again, 31-24.
Unfortunately, fans of the Warriors will have to travel the 200 miles from Babson Park to Jacksonville to see if Webber International can get their first win as the game won't be televised.
