Wake Forest and Florida State are underway from Doak S. Campbell Stadium on a hot day in Tallahassee, Fla. After a slow start to the contest, the Seminoles have found their scoring groove and lead the Demon Deacons after one quarter, 14-0.
The first score of the game came on a three-play, 47-yard drive led by Seminoles quarterback, E.J. Manuel. On second-and-12 from the Demon Deacons' 16-yard line, the redshirt senior scampered in 16-yards for the touchdown.
Florida State would quickly put more points on the board. After a three-and-out by Wake Forest on their ensuing posession, Alexander Kinal kicked a 42-yard punt which was received by Florida State's Rashad Greene. The sophomore wideout took the punt and went untouched en route to a 60-yard touchdown.
The Seminoles have already racked up 109 total yards to the Demon Deacons' 54 on three fewer plays thus far.
