Buccaneers Sign Jordan Shipley

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed wide receiver Jordan Shipley on Tuesday. To make room on the roster, the Buccaneers also released guard Derek Hardman, according to Stephen Holder.

Shipley was drafted in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals out of the University of Texas. After an impressive rookie season, where he caught 52 passes for 600 yards and three touchdowns, Shipley tore his ACL and MCL in week two last season and missed the rest of the 2011 season.

Shipley was cut by the Bengals this past August and was signed by the Buccaneers for the remainder of training camp, before being cut on Aug. 31.
