NFL Power Rankings: Miami Dolphins Emerge From The Basement

After their win against the Oakland Raiders, the Miami Dolphins have risen out of the bottom of NFL power rankings. In the SB Nation power rankings, the Dolphins rose to No. 26, a six-spot raise from week one. Joel Thorman praised the Dolphins running attack against the Raiders.

Two hundred-plus rushing yards in a dominating effort over Oakland. A lot of people are beating Oakland these days but no one runs on them quite like the Dolphins.

On the ESPN.com power rankings, the Dolphins rose five spots to No. 25. Jamison Hensley mentions a part of trivia that should be encouraging for the Dolphins defense.

Miami hasn't allowed an opposing running back to crack 100 yards in 16 straight games, the NFL's longest current streak.

In the NFL.com power rankings, much like in the SB Nation rankings, the Dolphins rose six spots to No. 26.
