Kentucky Vs. Florida: Gators Coach Will Muschamp Wants More From Solomon Patton

Florida Gator head coach Will Muschamp is looking for increased production from receiver Solomon Patton. The junior from Alabama has one catch for 17 receiving yards this season. He also has 71 rushing yards on seven carries. Muschamp highlighted Patton's athleticism in the lead up to this Saturday's game against Kentucky.

"Solomon's a guy that, let's utilize the situation, let's put the ball in his hands and give him some opportunities and some touches because of his electric speed," Muschamp told the Press-Register of Mobile. "I mean, he can really run. He's a guy who I think we've utilized what he does well. We've used him in some situations where he can be successful."

Patton's career at Florida has been relatively quiet so far. He recorded four catches for 27 yards in 2010, and three catches for 35 yards in 2011. He's played well on special teams throughout his career as both a return and coverage specialist.
