Schuyler Rimmer De-Commits From Florida

Class of 2013 forward prospect Schuyler Rimmer has decided that he will not play for the Florida Gators. The three-star recruit will explore options elsewhere, and he has several other high-major offers to consider. It wasn't an easy decision for Rimmer to part ways with Florida, but he felt it was the best thing for him to do at this point.

"It was a hard decision to come to," Rimmer said. "But I felt like it was better for me to do it now rather than wait and have it be too late."

Rimmer, who did not elaborate on the reasons for this decision, is receiving interest from Vanderbilt, Stanford, Miami, Penn State and Clemson, among others.

Billy Donovan and the Gators nonetheless have an outstanding 2013 class, as five-star prospects Kasey Hill and Chris Walker are set to join the program.
