Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Tiquan Underwood is excited about a second opportunity with the franchise after being re-signed on Thursday. Underwood was released by the club during the preseason, but remained optimistic that another opportunity may present itself somewhere around the league.
After an unsuccessful tryout with the Oakland Raiders prior to Week 1, Underwood eventually received a call from the Buccaneers following the release of wide receiver Preston Parker. The 25-year-old was happy to return to a familiar situation.

"That feeling of going to a team where you don't know the playbook, it would have been difficult," Underwood said. "But to come back here where I'm familiar with the players it's a better situation overall. But when you're unemployed, you take any call."
Underwood is not only familiar with the Buccaneers players; he also played under head coach Greg Schiano while at Rutgers University.
