Buccaneers Running Game A Focus Of Greg Schiano

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were happy with what they accomplished in the air against the New York Giants last week, despite the losing effort. But first-year head coach Greg Schiano still wasn't satisfied with the results in the running game, as rookie running back Doug Martin rushed for just 66 yards on 20 carries.

If the Bucs' run attack can be a bit more productive, it could open things up even more in the passing game. Perhaps LeGarrette Blount, recently back from injury, could contribute to the ground game if Martin struggles.

"We need to run it better than we did the other day," Schiano said, via the Tampa Bay Times. "We have to be able to run when we want to run."
