USF Vs. Ball State 2012 Final Score: Bulls Fall 31-27

Willie Snead hauled in a 19-yard Keith Wenning pass with 1:02 left to play, and the Ball State Cardinals took the lead from the South Florida Bulls to win at home by a score of 31-27.

Ball State led for much of the game, but the Bulls would rally in the third and fourth quarters, taking the lead with 4:12 left to play as B.J. Daniels hit Lindsey Lamar for a 29 yard score. Daniels would finish the day with 312 yards passing, three touchdowns, and two interceptions.

USF drove late, and was in a position to score before Ball State's Avery Bailey picked off USF's B.J. Daniels to seal the victory for the Cardinals.

Box Score Hero: Ball State receiver Willie Snead had a big game for the Cardinals, catching 11 passes for 135 yards and a score.

Rankings Ramifications: None, but that does not make the sudden emergence of MAC football against teams from BCS conferences any less interesting.

But Did They Cover? USF was favored by a TD in this one, so that spread was not covered.
