Buccaneers Vs. Cowboys Score Update: Teams Tied 7-7 After First Quarter

In a mistake-filled first quarter, the Cowboys overcame their own issues to salvage a 7-7 tie with the Buccaneers in Dallas.

On the first possession of the day, Tony Romo threw an interception to Aqib Talib, who darted in front of Miles Austin to secure his first pick of the year.

The Bucs capitalized on Romo's mistake just six plays later when Josh Freeman threw a 1-yard touchdown to Luke Stocker.

Two series later, the Cowboys grabbed an interception of their own when Sean Lee picked off a short pass from Freeman. DeMarco Murray then went in for a touchdown from 11 yards out to tie the game at 7-7.

In addition to Romo's early turnover, the Cowboys also hurt themselves with five penalties for 35 yards.

Cowboys left guard Nate Livings left the game early in the quarter with a hand injury, but did return to the game midway through the quarter.
