Adrian Clayborn had to be carted off the field during Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, and early indications are that the leg injury he suffered may be season ending. After the game, Clayborn left the stadium wearing a brace on his injured leg that went from thigh to ankle. Teammates have suggested that the injury is very serious, with Michael Bennett hinting that it may be season ending. Bennett had to following to say after the game via the Tampa Bay Times:
I lost one of my best friends on the team today. I'd give anything to get him back on the team.
Clayborn was the 20th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft and had recorded 42 tackles and 7.5 sacks in his rookie season. The Bucs will likely turn to Daniel Te'o-Nesheim or George Johnson to replace Clayborn on the defensive line while the second-year end is injured. Te'o-Nesheim got the bulk of the reps on Sunday as Johnson was not active for the game.
