Jeff Loria Upset Over Fredi Gonzalez's Comments

Miami Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria isn't too happy with former Marlins skipper, and current Atlanta Braves manager, Fredi Gonzalez.

Gonzalez told the Miami Herald that there's " ... not a manager dead or alive that Jeffey thinks is good enough. Not Connie Mack, not anyone."

Needless to say, this caught the attention of the Marlins' owner -- who fired back at Gonzalez himself.

"I'm a little surprised because it's classless, especially because he was with us for five years and was a colossal failure ... Not nice. Not nice."

Is anybody right in this back-and-forth between Gonzalez and Loria? Probably not, but it's certainly tough for anybody to side with Loria on pretty much anything.

Gonzalez's comments came after reports that Ozzie Guillen could be fired after this season, along with much of the Miami front office. Further, the Marlins are reportedly looking to shed payroll headed into next season -- just one year after opening up a brand new ballpark.

If you've ever wondered why Albert Pujols chose to earn less money in Los Angeles than he would in Miami, you've found your answer.
