Buccaneers Vs. Cowboys: Tampa Bay Pass Rush Gone To Waste

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' pass rush was strong against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The Bucs picked up four sacks and also forced two fumbles, but the efforts of the defense were squandered by an offense that couldn't get itself in gear. Possible frustrations with the offense aside, defensive end Michael Bennett spoke encouragingly of the way the defense is developing:

"I feel like we're making strides," said DE Michael Bennett, who torched the Cowboys offensive tackles and registered two sacks. "I feel every week that we have the best defense in the NFL. I'm never going to shy away from saying that."

Unfortunately, the Bucs' defensive line lost end Adrian Clayborn for the season to a knee injury, which won't help the development of that unit as a whole.
