N.C. State vs. Miami 2012 odds: Hurricanes are three-point favorites

The Miami Hurricanes enter Saturday's ACC showdown against N.C. State as three-point favorites.

Kevin Liles-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The Miami Hurricanes look to improve to 3-0 in ACC play on Saturday as they host the N.C. State Wolfpack, just one week after a thrilling overtime win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

While both N.C. State and Miami are 3-1 on the young season, the Hurricanes are favored in Saturday's contest by three points.

Miami's body of work, along with the homefield, are the logical explanations for Miami being the favorite in Saturday's contest. N.C. State lost to Tennessee, but rebounded with wins over Connecticut, South Alabama and Citadel.

The Hurricanes, meanwhile, lost to a ranked opponent in Kansas St., but have notched wins over Boston College, Bethune-Cookman and Georgia Tech.

The over/under for the game has been set at 55. So far in 2012, Miami has gone over in three games.

Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET Saturday, at Sun Life Stadium.
